Client Stories - Harold

"I was really ashamed when my wife told me that our granddaughter Zoe was on drugs. No one in our family has ever done that before and I don't like people to know about it.

I was quite tough from the start once I knew. I could see Zoë thought me and her Nan didn’t know what she was up to. But Maude found it really hard to not give her money when she asked. Anyway, since she’s been going to the support group, she seems to have got a bit wiser and doesn’t give in to Zoe.

As far as we know Zoe is still on drugs, but we don’t see a lot of her, it upsets me as I just remember her as a little girl. She was so bright and bubbly. I just hope she gets off the drugs and settles down."
