Client Stories - Sally
"I’ve got 2 small kids and things have been really hard for the last 3 years. My partner Gary is a crack addict and I’ve basically been bringing up the kids on my own. He steals from me and there’s been times when there’s been no money to even buy nappies for the baby and I’ve had to borrow money from my mum.
Anyway, recently things have got a bit better. Gary says he’s sick of using and wants to get himself sorted for me and the kids. I don’t really trust him anymore but he’s agreed to come to mediation sessions with me. The counsellor has helped us to talk to each other properly and is hoping to get Gary into a treatment programme. So I’ve got my fingers crossed."
